KANAWHA COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Residents and travelers in the Sanderson area may notice smoke and the odor of something burning in the coming days and weeks.
According to the Pinch Volunteer Fire Department, there is a fire burning deep underground above the coal tipple, with smoke venting through old mining portals.
