GHENT, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) is seeking public input on the proposed relocation of the Ghent, WV, Post Office following the landlord’s decision not to renew the lease at its current location, 121 Odd Road.
Relocation Details
USPS is looking for a new retail location within the 25843 ZIP Code area, with two possible options:
- An existing building of approximately 1,000 square feet with designated parking.
- A vacant land site of approximately 11,000 square feet to accommodate a postal-owned modular building.
The goal is to find a suitable new location as close as possible to the current site.
Public Comment Period
Residents will receive a postcard with details about the relocation and are encouraged to submit comments. Feedback must be sent within 45 days of receiving the postcard to:
