WOOD COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A West Virginia man is behind bars after he tried to entice, who he thought was a 14-year-old girl for sex.
According to detectives, in early April, Patrick Aaron Page made contact through Facebook Messenger with a female undercover from the Parkersburg Police Department, whom he thought was a 14-year-old juvenile.
Over a month, the conversation turned sexual. Page started describing several sexual acts he would like to do with the 14-year-old. Page sent two pictures of his genitals to the undercover 14-year-old, asking her if she “wanted all this”.
Page later made plans to meet the 14-year-old for sexual activity. On May 13, 2025, Page drove to a location in Parkserburg, where he thought he was meeting the 14-year-old, but the police were waiting for him.
