PRINCETON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A shoplifting investigation at a Princeton retail store escalated into a physical confrontation and vehicle escape Thursday afternoon, according to the Princeton Police Department.
Police said officers were dispatched to Roses, located at 1336 Stafford Drive in Princeton, at approximately 2:22 p.m.

While investigating the reported shoplifting incident, an officer made contact with two suspects, identified as Owynn Rogers and Jeremy Henry.
Authorities say both individuals became combative during the investigation, resisted physical restraint, and fled the scene.
According to police, Rogers and Henry entered a black Chrysler minivan that was being driven by a third suspect, Brittany Schoolfield. The vehicle then left the area at a high rate of speed in heavy traffic.
Law enforcement officials say warrants have been issued in connection with the incident. Police believe the individuals may reside in the Beckley area.
