ORIGINAL STORY: Both lanes of U.S. Route 19 near the Mount Hope exit are currently closed due to multiple weather-related accidents, according to Fayette County 911.
Officials have not provided an estimated time for reopening but will issue updates once the roadway is clear.
Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes and use caution in hazardous weather conditions.
