COOL RIDGE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – In the wake of storms felt on the heels of Hurricane Helene, Raleigh County’s own Weathered Ground Brewery has announced the “Band Together” Hurricane Relief Concert event scheduled for this Sunday.
Local organizers have secured nearly a dozen of the area’s most highly regarded performers to participate in the concert event, the proceeds of which will go toward benefiting the Samaritan’s Purse organization.
Set to begin at 11:00pm on Sunday, October 13, 2024, the event will be held at Weathered Ground Brewery’s 2027 Flat Top Road location in Cool Ridge and will run until 6:00pm.
Those in attendance are encouraged to provide a donation (of $20 or more as a suggested amount) or any requested items. Requested donation items include water, diapers, baby formula, batteries, trash bags, individually packaged snacks, towels and washcloths, socks, dog and cat food, disinfectant wipes, dog and cat food, band aids, toothbrushes, and toothpaste.
