(LOOTPRESS) – The Cannabist Company has announced the launch of a donation drive campaign in support of Weed for Warriors, which will support treatment options for veterans including holistic rehabilitation through community-based projects.
The campaign will offer the opportunity for customers to round up their purchases or make donations in one-dollar, five-dollar, or ten-dollar increments, with all proceeds going directly to the Weed for Warriors project.
The campaign will be launched across twelve markets including those in West Virginia, California, Delaware, Illinois, Colorado, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Virginia.
Through Veterans Day – November 11, 2024 – the Cannabist Company, in partnership with Weed for Warriors, will be running a point-of-sale donation campaign in support of the nonprofit organization. The program serves to advocate for the rights of veterans to medical marijuana access as an alternative means of treatment to potentially harmful psychiatric substances.
