CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A new bill, HB 2655, seeks to add a three-second pause to all traffic lights in West Virginia, ensuring a delay between one light turning red and the opposite light turning green.
If passed, the State Road Commission would be required to reprogram all traffic signals to implement this delay, aiming to improve safety and reduce accidents at intersections.
The bill is currently under consideration in the Legislature.
