WELCH, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The West Virginia Department of Health Facilities (DHF) is pleased to announce that Welch Community Hospital has a new office at the hospital to offer Outpatient Infusion Services. The on-site service provides a variety of treatments, including antibiotic therapy, blood and blood products, iron infusions, and more. In addition to infusion therapies, the hospital offers vital services such as injections, central line blood work, dressing changes, and peripheral blood draws (phlebotomy).
Welch Community Hospital has designed its Infusion Site to provide a warm, comfortable, and supportive environment for patients. Each treatment area is equipped with personal televisions; Wi-Fi; and a selection of books, games, and puzzles to enhance the patient experience.
Understanding the value of patients’ time, Welch Community Hospital ensures that all treatments are administered promptly and without unnecessary delays.
