WEST VIRGINIA (LOOTPRESS) – Elected officials in West Virginia have begun to release statements after former President Trump was shot at a Pennsylvania rally.
President Trump is “doing fine” after being grazed by an apparent bullet at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
According to the Associated Press, the shooter is dead, and a rally attendee has been killed.
Following the incident, West Virginia elected officials have begun to release statements.
Governor Jim Justice has released the following statement:
“Please stop what you are doing and pray for President Trump, the Trump family, and the Secret Service and law enforcement around them.”
Senator Shelley Moore Capito released the following statement:
“Praying for President Trump, everyone at the rally, and our country.”
Senator Joe Manchin also offered his prayers:
“Gayle and I are praying for former President Trump and everyone impacted at the rally today. Thank you to law enforcement and first responders for their quick response on the scene.”
Congressman Alex Mooney posted the following to X:
“Pray for President Trump”
Congresswoman Carol Miller also posted to X:
“Pray for President Trump.”
