PRESTON COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A student at Preston High School has died over the weekend, according to school officials.
Preston County Schools announced the death in a post on its official Facebook page. Authorities have not released details regarding the cause of death.
School officials said counselors and support staff will be available at Preston High School in the coming days to assist students and staff members who may need support.
In the post, the district expressed condolences to the student’s family, stating, “Our sympathies go out to the family of the student, and we ask that you keep them in your thoughts during this very difficult time.”
