HANCOCK COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An Oak Glen High School student died Friday from injuries suffered in an ATV accident, according to Hancock County Schools.
The school district announced the student’s death but did not release the student’s name or provide additional details about the circumstances surrounding the accident.
Counselors and social workers will be available Monday at Oak Glen High School and the Hancock County Career Center to provide support to students and staff following the student’s death.
Hancock County Schools said information regarding any school-coordinated activities related to the student’s death will be shared through the district’s social media pages.
No additional information about the accident was immediately released.
