BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A new competitive travel baseball program is forming in southern West Virginia, and young athletes have the opportunity to try out and join the inaugural team.
The West Virginia Hitmen, a newly established organization, will hold open tryouts for its 9U and 10U teams on August 9 and August 12 at Fitzpatrick Park in Beckley.

Tryouts will take place on Saturday, August 9, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., and again on Tuesday, August 12, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Players must not turn 11 years old before May 1.
Organizers emphasize that the program will be low-cost, led by established coaches, and offer a fresh and exciting opportunity for youth players in the area.
Fitzpatrick Park is located at 896 Fitzpatrick Road in Beckley.
