TUCKER COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An 83-year-old Marion County man died following a single-vehicle crash in Tucker County on Sunday afternoon.
According to West Virginia State Police, the crash occurred around 3:45 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, 2026, along U.S. Route 219.
A preliminary investigation determined that Ralph D. Mullenax, 83, of Fairmont, was traveling southbound when he lost control of his vehicle, traveled off the eastern edge of the roadway and crashed.
Mullenax died from his injuries at the scene.
Senior Trooper G.P. Hahn responded to the crash.
State Police confirmed that Mullenax’s next of kin has been notified.
The crash remains under investigation.
