CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Governor Patrick Morrisey has issued a proclamation ordering flags to be flown at full staff across West Virginia on Monday, January 20, 2025, in honor of the inauguration of President Donald J. Trump.
The directive applies to the State Capitol and all government buildings.
“West Virginians are excited to celebrate this historic day and welcome the transformational leadership of President Donald J. Trump,” said Governor Morrisey.
“On Monday, we will unite and honor the inauguration of the 47th President of the United States by raising our flags.”
Flags will return to half staff on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, in remembrance of former President Jimmy Carter.
