CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – While the $1.8 billion Powerball jackpot went unclaimed nationwide, West Virginia players still saw substantial winnings over the weekend.
A Hedgesville player won $1 million after purchasing a ticket at the 7-11 on Hedgesville Road. The ticket matched all five numbers, though it did not include the Powerball or a Power Play multiplier.

Another player in Linn took home $50,000 with a ticket purchased at the Somerville Exxon on Highway 33. That ticket matched four numbers plus the Powerball, also without the Power Play option.
