RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Raleigh County woman has been arrested in connection with a series of contractor fraud complaints involving a local fencing business.
According to the West Virginia State Police, Miranda Ullman, who assisted in managing Fence Daddy and More LLC, has been charged with 13 counts of grand larceny, 13 counts of fraudulent schemes, and one count of conspiracy.
Ullman is the wife of Glen Ullman, the owner of the company, who was arrested in mid-October on related charges.
The investigation began on September 19, 2025, when troopers received the first of what would become 13 separate complaints against Fence Daddy and More LLC.
Customers reported paying large sums of money for fencing work that was never completed or failed to meet code standards.
According to the criminal complaint, investigators found that the Ullmans advertised free estimates on Facebook through September 24, 2025, and insisted that customers provide deposits before any work began.
Payments were often requested in cash or by check made out directly to either Miranda or Glen Ullman.
In total, the 13 complaints amounted to more than $105,000 in losses.
Nine customers allegedly received no work at all, totaling $59,000, while five others reported incomplete or substandard work valued at $46,400.
Both Glen and Miranda Ullman are currently out on bond as the investigation continues.
