BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for portions of southwest Virginia and southeast and southern West Virginia, with forecasters warning of accumulating snow and hazardous travel conditions.
According to the National Weather Service, the advisory goes into effect 7 p.m. this evening and remains in place until 10 a.m. Friday.
2 to 4 Inches of Snow Expected
Forecasters say the region can expect 2 to 4 inches of snow, which may lead to slick roadways and reduced visibility overnight and into the Friday morning commute.
