WILLIAMSON, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A family dispute turned physical in Williamson, prompting a response from the West Virginia State Police and resulting in a woman facing charges after allegedly assaulting her aunt.
Trooper J.C. Morrison responded to a disturbance call on Dens Branch Road, where the victim reported that her niece, Robin Jarvis, had become aggressive and physical during a confrontation at the residence.
According to police, Jarvis made multiple threats to harm her aunt, causing the victim to fear for her safety. Body camera footage captured by Trooper Morrison included video surveillance from the home, showing the altercation unfold.
In the video, the victim is seen sitting calmly on the porch when Jarvis comes outside, becomes verbally aggressive, and gestures as if to choke her. Moments later, Jarvis grabs her aunt’s arm and gets in her face. The victim stands and attempts to back away, but Jarvis follows and forcefully grabs her again, leaving a red mark on her arm.
She is charged with domestic violence.
