MADISON, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A Boone County woman is facing charges after her mother reported thousands of dollars in jewelry missing while she was away on vacation.
According to a complaint filed with the Madison Police Department on August 13, 2025, the victim said her daughter, along with boyfriend Ronnie Allan Mayhorn, entered her home without permission and went into her bedroom. The two are accused of taking a velvet bag containing seven diamond rings and a gold nugget, which the victim had made from her late parents’ wedding bands.
The victim told police the stolen jewelry is valued at approximately $2,500. She also stated this is not the first time her daughter has taken items from her residence.
The suspect denied involvement when confronted, but police say charges will be pursued based on the victim’s taped statement.
