OCEANA, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A woman was arrested after causing a disturbance at a convenience store with no shirt on. When police asked her to put a shirt on, she then took her pants off.
On August 31, 2024, at approximately 0148 hours, Oceana Police received a call from WCERC regarding a public disturbance at a 7-11 store. Upon arriving on the scene, police spoke with a worker who stated that a female was screaming and had run off with a male. A police officer then observed a flashing flashlight on Weaver Street and went to investigate.
At Weaver Street, a male witness informed me that he had seen a female and two males walking towards Westside Collision. The officer proceeded to that location and found a female, later identified as Angel J. Hunt (the defendant), screaming and without a shirt on. When he instructed her to put her shirt back on, she began removing her pants instead.
The officer ordered the defendant to put her hands behind her back, but she refused. He then had to physically restrain her, as she began pulling away and screaming. He was able to safely detain the defendant by guiding her to a sitting position on the ground.
After securing the defendant, the officer requested a female EMS worker to assist in getting the defendant’s pants back on. Jan-care arrived and once the defendant was fully clothed, he placed her under arrest and transported her to the Oceana Police Department for processing.
