WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A woman was arrested after allegedly drinking 1.5 bottles of Fireball and repeatedly hitting her husband.
According to the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department, on Thursday, September 7, 2023, deputies responded to a home in White Sulphur Springs for a domestic situation. Once they arrived, they learned that Alisha Dowdy hit her husband. The husband had video footage of him repeatedly telling his wife to stop hitting him.
Dowdy was allegedly very intoxicated and had drunk 1.5 bottles of Fireball.
Deputies say they tried to get Dowdy to leave with her mother for the night, but she refused. She started screaming profanities at the deputies and not following directions.
Dowdy was charged with disorderly conduct, domestic battery, and obstructing an officer. She is currently out on bond.
