CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One woman has been arrested after exposing herself and urinating into a street drain at a gas station.
According to a criminal complaint, on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, Metro 911 dispatched a deputy to a gas station on Sissonville Drive in Charleston for a trespassing call.
Upon arrival, the manager of the store stated that the suspect, 53-year-old Dena Bowles of Charleston, had been on the property “exposing herself and urinating into the street drain where customers could see her.”
The manager told police that Bowles went to a store across the street following the incident.
Police told Bowles to leave the property and she did. She then returned while police were still there and began to rummage through the mailbox of the business.
Bowles was then arrested by police for trespassing but not after trying to pull away from officers.
Bowles was placed into restraints and transported to police headquarters where she refused fingerprints.
She has been charged with Trespassing, Indecent Exposure, and Failure to Give Fingerprints.
She is currently at South Central Regional Jail on a $1,000 cash-only bond.
