LYNCO, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Wyoming County woman is arrested and charged after going to a home completely naked trying to force her way in and then decided to take a swim.
On Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at approximately 11 am, Deputy H. Walker, responded to a report of trespassing in the Lynco area of Wyoming County. Upon arrival, he observed a female, later identified as Starr Adams, who was completely nude and inside the pool located outside of the residence.
When asked, Ms. Adams exited the pool and spoke with deputies Senior NRPO First Class Peck and Cpl. Paynter of the WV State Police. Cpl. Paynter then attempted to detain Ms. Adams, but she resisted and tried to pull away. Once detained, Ms. Adams refused to put on clothes and did not follow lawful commands.
Officers tried to clothe Ms. Adams, but she kept attempting to pull away and drop to her knees. Once detained, Ms. Adams was escored to the cruiser, as Cpl. Paynter tried to buckle her in; Ms. Adams placed her mouth on his face and attempted to bite and kiss him.
After securing Ms. Adams in my vehicle, deputies spoke with the homeowner. The homeowner stated that he had heard someone open the screen door after getting out of the shower. The homeowner saw that Ms. Adams was naked and tried to force her way in. When the homeowner closed the door, Ms. Adams picked up a ladder and climbed into the pool. She later returned to the porch, attempted to open the door again. She damaged multiple flower pots and the siding on the tile house before the police arrived.
Ms. Adams was then transported to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office for processing.
