LOGAN COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – On the morning of Thursday, May 30, 2024, Deputy C.L. Carter from the Logan County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to respond to a report of a woman on Huff Creek Highway throwing furniture at passing vehicles.
Upon arrival, Deputy Carter spoke with a witness who observed the woman, identified as Crystal Brown, throwing furniture from her yard into the street. When Deputy Carter attempted to approach Brown, she became verbally aggressive and started shouting obscenities.
Another witness described Brown as behaving irrationally and belligerently. Despite attempts to communicate with her, Brown continued to be uncooperative and obstructive.
After further interaction, Brown was taken into custody and transported to the Logan County Sheriff’s Department for processing. Subsequently, she was transferred to the Southwestern Regional Jail to await arraignment.
