BOONE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Boone County woman is accused of charging at two people and attempting to spit on them. She also had to be dragged to the police vehicle after refusing to walk.
According to Boone County Sheriff’s Department, a disturbance call came from Sandlick Road in Prenter, near Madison. When deputies arrived, two victims stated that Brittany Runion attempted to spit on one of them, damaged the fence on the property, and became belligerent.
When deputies met with Runion, they could smell alcohol and noticed a laceration on her right leg. When they attempted to arrest her, she refused to comply with commands. Deputies had to take her to the ground to place her under arrest. Runion refused to walk to the police car, so she had to be dragged to the vehicle.
Runion is charged with two counts of domestic assault and obstructing an officer. She is currently being held in Southwestern Regional Jail.
