MERCER COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A woman is facing several charges after she bit a man’s leg and busted out windows.
According to Mercer County Deputies, on March 22, 2023, Karen Cook showed up at a home where she wasn’t allowed to contact a male victim. The victim had a DVP order against Karen Cook. Cook was upset that the male victim had a DVP order against her and became more upset. Cook began to kick on the door, dragged the male to the ground, and bit him on his left leg on the calf area. The victim got away, and Cook followed him, attempting to get him outside to talk to her.
After the victim told Cook he wasn’t coming outside to talk to her, Cook broke the kitchen window out and ran down the driveway after seeing law enforcement arriving.
Deputies obtained evidence of blood on the door from Cook’s wrist, where she cut it on the window after busting it. There was also blood on the kitchen window where Cook had used her fist to break it. They also saw bit marks on the male victim’s leg.
When the Deputies questioned Cook, she acknowledged everything and said she had a surprise for the victim: Neurontin, a specific drug.
