LINCOLN COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man was arrested in Lincoln County following a domestic violence incident that occurred in the early hours of Saturday, March 15, 2025.
At approximately 12:05 a.m., Trooper C.L. Robinson responded to a call for service through Lincoln County 911 regarding a domestic disturbance in Hamlin, West Virginia.
Upon arrival, Trooper Robinson made contact with the victim. Â She reported that she was sitting on the bed when her boyfriend, Brandon Doneff, began yelling at her and making threats. She further stated that Doneff then jumped on top of her and struck her around the neck. Fearing for her life, she called for assistance.
Based on the investigation, authorities determined that the incident did occur as reported. The case is under further review, and charges against Doneff are pending.
