PHILIPPI, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A woman physically assaults her ex-boyfriend, pulls part of his hair out, and throws a bottle of pop against the wall.
On September 24, 2024, at approximately 2:28 p.m., a public service call was answered regarding an altercation at 775 Elk Creek Road, Philippi, WV. The officer spoke with the male victim, who reported that his ex-girlfriend, Lindsey Abel, had pulled into his driveway as he was preparing to leave.
He explained that he exited his vehicle and went inside to distance himself from Abel, who allegedly attempted to force her way into the residence. When he opened the door to allow Abel to retrieve her belongings, an argument ensued. Abel then threw a bottle of pop against the wall and physically assaulted the man by hitting him and pulling part of his hair out. The officer noted visible scratch marks on the victim’s neck and chest.
Lindsey Abel is facing one count of domestic battery. The incident took place in Barbour County, WV.
