BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Woodrow Wilson High School senior Hannah Adkins has officially enlisted in the West Virginia Army National Guard.
School officials said Adkins had been looking forward to joining since her sophomore year.

She took her oath this week, entering as a private.
Adkins, now in her final year at Woodrow Wilson, was praised by the school community for her commitment and future service.
“She will make a great asset to this great organization and to her country,” the school said in its announcement.
