CHATTAROY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – It has been announced that renovations to the Mingo County Animal Control Facility are set to get underway as soon as this weekend.
The Mingo County Commission recently announced that the commission was awarded grant funds through the Federation of Humane Societies of West Virginia – also known as FOHO WV – which will go toward the implementation of the renovations in question.
Materials for the work have reportedly already been obtained and the work itself is expected to be completed over the course of two volunteer days, the first of which was confirmed by the Mingo County Commission as part of the renovation announcement.
The first of the two volunteer days is scheduled for Saturday, October 27, 2024, with work set to begin at 9:00am. Tasks which will be included as part of the day’s work will include painting, the pouring of concrete, and the installation of an exterior door along with metal siding to the exterior.
