The 85th legislature wrapped up its second 60-day session last month, marked by the completion of 134 Senate Bills and 150 House Bills, 280 of which have been signed by Governor Jim Justice.
While 6 bills became law with no signature, there have 5 Bills, SB 729, SB 573, HB 4001, HB 4020, and HB 2300, which have been vetoed by Governor Justice for various reasons, some of which come down to simple code conflict with existing legislation.
The West Virginia Legislature website, today, shared at-a-glance recaps of both the House and Senate 2022 Legislative Sessions, which can be referenced by interested parties looking to stay up to date on legislative proceedings.
