BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The West Virginia Department of Transportation will hold a hiring event in Raleigh County on Wednesday, Sept. 16, with on-the-spot interviews available for several positions.
The hiring event will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Raleigh County Headquarters, located at 379 Market Road in Beckley.
The department is hiring Transportation Equipment Operator 1 positions, which require a driver’s license, and Transportation Equipment Operator 2 positions, which require a Class A or B commercial driver’s license.
Transportation Equipment Mechanic 2 positions are also available. Applicants for those positions must have two years of experience or qualifying vocational training.
Those interested are asked to bring a driver’s license and resume. Interviews will be conducted during the event.
