HANOVER, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Wyoming County man has been arrested in relation a firearm-related incident in which he has been accused of shooting at his uncle.
According to Lieutenant L. T. Goldie Jr. of the West Virginia State Police, WVSP Trooper N.T. Warden responded to Lower Muzzle Road in the Hanover area of Wyoming County regarding a shooting-related complaint.
Upon arriving at the scene, Trooper Warden learned that 29-year-old Austin Cline had allegedly fired at the victim, identified as 47-year-old Teddy Toler. The incident is said to have stemmed from a domestic altercation, and saw the ensuing shots strike the ground around Toler.
Law enforcement indicates that the victim and suspect live adjacent to one another and are uncle and nephew.
Austin Cline faces charges of domestic assault, wanton endangerment, and possession of a controlled substance as a result of the incident in which he is accused of shooting at his uncle.
At the time of writing, Cline is being housed at Southern Regional Jail where he will await a preliminary hearing in relation to the happening.
