HUNTINGTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Three of the four juveniles involved in an attempted carjacking on Tuesday have been arrested, according to authorities.
The Huntington Police Department reports that, on Thursday, May 9, 2024, the juveniles involved in the incident that remained at large were detained in Cullen County, Alabama.
The arrest occurred following a vehicle pursuit involving a vehicle which had been reported stolen. A foot pursuit reportedly ensued afterward.
“The Huntington Police Department would like to thank the citizens of Huntington for their assistance in locating these individuals,” read a statement from the Huntington PD. “The Police Department also thanks the numerous law enforcement agencies from the Tri-State and Alabama authorities who assisted in these investigations.”
The arrest of the three juveniles follows Tuesday’s arrest of the fourth individual – also a juvenile minor – involved in the incident .
All individuals involved face charges of First-Degree-Robbery.

HUNTINGTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Four teenagers were involved in an attempted carjacking incident in the Huntington area on Tuesday, resulting in the arrest of one 14-year-old male.
According to the Huntington Police Department, at 5:25pm on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, law enforcement responded to the 1300 block of 6th Avenue, were a victim reported having been forcibly removed from her vehicle at gunpoint by four individuals.
Despite having removed the driver, the individuals in question were unsuccessful in commandeering the vehicle and fled the scene once the victim contacted emergency services.
One individual involved, an unidentified 14-year-old male, was arrested in connection with the incident and faces First-Degree Robbery charges.

The suspects should be considered armed and dangerous, and are wanted for First-Degree-Robbery.
