RANDOLPH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A teenage girl has died following an ATV crash in Randolph County, according to the West Virginia State Police.
Authorities say the crash happened Friday, March 6, around 6:08 p.m. near Isner Creek Road in the Elkins area after dispatch received a report of an ATV accident.
Troopers say a 16-year-old female was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries she suffered in the crash involving a 2022 Can-Am Defender. Three other juveniles were also inside the ATV at the time of the incident.
The crash occurred on private farmland, and officials say no other injuries were reported.
West Virginia State Police say no criminal activity is suspected. The victim’s parents were notified of the death in person.
