FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A 19-year-old Marmet man is facing felony charges in Fayette County following an investigation by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department.
According to Fayette County Sheriff Shannon Morris, Devin J. Corfee, 19, of Marmet, has been charged with two counts of third-degree sexual assault.
The charges stem from an alleged sexual assault involving a juvenile, reported to deputies on August 8, 2024.
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Department Detective’s Bureau conducted an investigation, leading to the issuance of warrants for Corfee’s arrest.
He is now awaiting further court proceedings.
He is currently at Southern Regional Jail on a $100,000 bond.
