OCEANA, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One of the most exciting annual events in the Wyoming County area, the Town of Oceana‘s John Cooke Founders Day Festival will kick off this weekend.
Set to begin at 2:00pm on Friday, July 12, 2024, the event will feature three days of family-friendly activities and performances. The festival will run through the weekend, concluding on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at 10:00pm.
Included as part of the festival’s schedule of events will be a duck race, beauty pageant, and a fishing event set to be held at Kirkendoll Pond.
Live entertainment has also been announced as part of the proceedings, with award-winning live magician Joseph Young set to perform, along with music from a DJ, the Floyd McCoy Band, and more.
Vendors will be on-site for the event as well, along with a dunk tank, child blowups, and the Southern Highland Cow Petting Zoo.
