YADKIN COUNTY, NC (LOOTPRESS) — A 70-year-old Jonesville man has been charged with seven counts of indecent liberties with a child following an investigation by the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities received a report on October 7, 2024, alleging sexual offenses involving a child. After conducting an investigation, the sheriff’s office gathered evidence supporting the claims, leading to the issuance of warrants for John Allen Cox.
On January 1, 2025, Cox was served with the warrants. He was placed under a $125,000 unsecured bond by a magistrate and subsequently released.
Cox is scheduled to appear in court on January 8, 2025, to face the charges. The investigation remains ongoing.
