BUCKHANNON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Multiple individuals were arrested on drug charges on Thursday afternoon following the execution of a search warrant.
According to the Upshur County Sheriff’s Department, Upshur County Sheriff’s Deputies executed a search warrant at approximately 3:30pm on Thursday, 3/28/2024.
Four suspects were arrested on drug charges on Stony Run Road as a result of the warrant.
Additional arrests are anticipated to be forthcoming, according to law enforcement.
Three of the four suspects arrested hailed from out of state, specifically from Detroit, Michigan.
During the search, deputies seized large quantities of fentanyl, US Currency, and other illegal narcotics substances.
Additional information in relation to the investigation is expected to emerge on Friday.
