GAULEY BRIDGE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A domestic dispute between a father and son ended in injuries and charges Sunday evening in Fayette County.
According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were called to an apartment on Gauley River Road around 5:08 p.m. on August 17. When Deputy First Class T.L. Farley II arrived, he found Ralph Criniti with blood in his mouth and his son, Joseph Criniti, with an injury to his leg.
Investigators say Joseph reported that his father struck him with a board, while Ralph claimed Joseph injured him during the fight.

Deputies determined there was probable cause to charge both men. Ralph Criniti was charged with domestic battery for allegedly striking his son with the board. Joseph Criniti was also charged with domestic battery for reportedly injuring his father.
Both men were taken into custody following the incident.
