MONROE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A local school administrator has been arrested after being drunk on school property.
Monroe County Schools Superintendent Dr. Jason Conaway confirmed the incident with LOOTPRESS on Tuesday morning.

The superintendent says the individual was the assistant principal at Mountain View Elementary/Middle School in Union.
The assistant principal was also allegedly in possession of alcohol on school grounds.
The unnamed administrator has since been removed from his duties.
