FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man is facing a felony drug charge after a traffic stop early Saturday morning, according to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department.
Sheriff Jess McMullen said a deputy conducted a traffic stop on U.S. Route 19 near Scarbro on May 2, 2026, for a minor traffic violation.
During the stop, the driver, identified as Seth Elliot Bragg, consented to a search of the vehicle.
Deputies reported locating items consistent with narcotics use and distribution, along with more than five grams of suspected fentanyl.
Bragg has been charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, fentanyl.
He was transported to Southern Regional Jail, where he is awaiting arraignment.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
