PRINCETON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Community Connections is excited to announce Camp Kindness 2026, a free summer day camp designed to provide children ages 6–14 with a fun, supportive, and enriching experience focused on kindness, connection, and community.
Camp Kindness will take place across two locations in Mercer County:
- Matoaka Fire Department (Matoaka, WV): June 24–26
- Bluefield Housing Authority (Bluefield, WV): July 22–24
Each camp session will run Wednesday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, offering structured activities, positive mentorship, and opportunities for youth to build friendships and life skills in a safe and welcoming environment. Meals will be provided at no cost to participants.
“Camp Kindness is about creating a space where kids can feel supported, have fun, and learn the value of kindness toward themselves and others,” said organizers. “We want every child to leave camp feeling confident, connected, and encouraged.”
The camp is completely free, removing barriers for families and ensuring all children have access to a positive summer experience.
