BLUEFIELD, WV (LOOTPRESS) — The Bluefield State University Alumni Association (BSUAA), under the leadership of National President Terry Thompson, invites alumni, students, families, friends, and the entire community to join in its 2026 Homecoming celebration, October 2–3, 2026.
This year’s theme, “No Place Like Home: A Celebration of Legacy, Culture, and the People Who Made Bluefield Home,” honors the generations of students, alumni, faculty, staff, families, and community members whose contributions have shaped the history and spirit of Bluefield State University.
All Homecoming activities listed below are open to the public. Whether you are a proud graduate, former student, longtime supporter, community member or visiting Bluefield State for the first time, the Alumni Association welcomes you home to celebrate.

Come out and cheer on Bluefield State as the Big Blue takes the field for its 2026 Homecoming game.
A Night on the Hill — “Sneaker Ball”

Homecoming weekend concludes with “A Night on the Hill,” a Sneaker Ball that combines style, music, fellowship, and fun.
