CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) — The West Virginia Trucking Association (WVTA) announced a new partnership with Access Strategies, which will provide association management, government affairs, and strategic advocacy services for the organization.
The West Virginia Trucking Association represents the trucking companies and businesses that keep West Virginia’s economy moving. Through advocacy, education, industry engagement, and member services, WVTA works to promote a strong and competitive trucking industry while serving as a unified voice for its members before state policymakers and regulatory agencies.
Under the new partnership, Access Strategies will work closely with WVTA leadership and its membership to manage the association’s day-to-day operations, strengthen member engagement, grow the organization, and advance the trucking industry’s priorities before the West Virginia Legislature, executive branch, and state agencies. “West Virginia’s trucking industry is essential to nearly every sector of our state’s economy, and it is important that our members have a strong and effective voice in Charleston,” said Brady Campbell, Chairman of the West Virginia Trucking Association Board. “Access Strategies brings a combination of government affairs experience, knowledge of our industry and longstanding relationships with many of our members. We believe this partnership will help us strengthen the association, expand the value we provide to our members, and ensure the trucking industry continues to have a meaningful voice in the decisions that affect our businesses and workforce.”
Access Strategies will provide WVTA with a team of government affairs professionals and an office located adjacent to the West Virginia State Capitol, giving the association and its members a convenient presence in Charleston for legislative meetings, association events, member engagement, and other activities.
“We are excited for the opportunity to partner with the West Virginia Trucking Association and represent an industry that plays such an important role in West Virginia’s economy,” said Daniel Hall of Access Strategies. “Our team has a long history of working with leaders and businesses throughout the trucking industry, so this is an association and membership we know well. We look forward to building on those relationships, growing the organization, and making sure WVTA members have a strong presence at the Capitol and a seat at the table on the issues that matter to their businesses.”
The partnership will also focus on strengthening WVTA’s membership and increasing engagement among trucking companies and businesses that support the industry. Access Strategies will work with association leadership to expand membership, enhancecommunications, coordinate meetings and events, and identify new opportunities to provide value to WVTA members.
“Trucking touches virtually every community and every industry in West Virginia,” Hall added. “We want WVTA to be the place where the industry comes together — not only to advocate for sound public policy, but also to build relationships, share information and strengthen trucking in West Virginia for the long term.”
