TWILIGHT, WV (LOOTPRESS) — Boone County Sheriff Chad Barker said it is too early to tell if foul play involved in the death of a body found in a wooded area near Twilight.
Barker said his office was notified of an 11 a.m. missing person call that came in. The missing person was alleged to be in a wooded area. Twilight is a fairly remote area of the county.
Three hours later, the man’s body was discovered.
Several fire departments have been on the scene as well as the Boone County Ambulance Authority.
Combined emergency responders were involved in the search and rescue that located the man.
No other details or his name were being released. At this point, the Sheriff said the death is not being treated as suspicious.
