MORGANTOWN, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Morgantown man that has been wanted for murder since November 15th was caught and arrested by police yesterday.
According to the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office, Austin Williams, 23 years old from Morgantown was taken into custody without incident.
Williams was apprehended by the United States Marshals Service with the assistance of the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office, Morgantown Police Department, and the Mon Metro Drug and Violent Crime Task Force.
Police say Williams is being charged with one count of first-degree murder in connection to the November 15, 2022 death of Jamey Lynn Corbin, 47 of Fairmont who was found dead inside a car that wrecked off a road near Morgantown.
Williams was transported to the North Central Regional Jail and was later arraigned virtually before the Monongalia County Magistrate Court. He is being held without bond.
