PINEVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Town of Pineville announced details Monday pertaining to its upcoming 6th Annual Hometown Christmas Parade.
The event, first announced back in October, will see its 6th iteration this year and will take place on Monday, December 5, 2022.
Lineup for the parade will begin at 5:00 pm at Pineville Elementary, with the parade procession itself getting underway at 6:00 pm.
Additionally, the evening will feature a reading of the Christmas Story by Pastor Dwight Stafford, the lighting of the Town Christmas Tree on the courthouse lawn, a musical performance of holiday classics by the Pineville Elementary Handbell Choir, and a reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas by Judge Mike Cochrane.
Refreshments will be available at local Main Street businesses, along with horse and carriage rides along Main Street.
Hilltop Coffee will be present offering hot drinks and Santa will make an appearance at Nosin’ & Shoppin’.
