CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The West Virginia House of Delegates has reinstated all public access granted prior to COVID concerns and Gov. Jim Justice’s March 18, 2020 announcement limiting access to the Capitol Complex, according to.an announcement.
The announcement said that “Accredited members of the media and members of the public with a vested interest in the process were permitted to participate in the recently completed regular legislative session with appropriate social distance and other COVID protocols.”
Members of the Legislature will meet June 6 for three days of interim committee meetings as well as a June 7 extraordinary session. The special.session begins at 12 noon.
House Rules regarding decorum, introduction of guests, floor privileges, attire, lobbying and news correspondents remain in place, the statement said.
